The Crankbrothers Mallet clip-in shoe is designed to perform exceptionally well both on the race track and at the bike park. Our innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, be it Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position, allowing you to ride with Crankbrothers pedals right out of the box.

The CLIP-IN SYSTEM is designed for OPTIMAL SHOE / PEDAL INTERFACE. The Match Box offers optimized compatibility for any MTB pedal, the Race Zone cleat positioning guarantees control and stability, and the stiff shank provides efficient power transfer. The Ramp secures easy clip-in and out, while also providing mud clearance, and the MC1 rubber compound offers low friction for easy exit.

WALKABILITY and DURABILITY are also key features of this shoe. The directional, angled, and spaced toe/heel lugs offer traction while hiking, and the ramped toe provides walkability on steep terrain. The lug depth is designed to absorb pedal pins for a secure connection, and the rounded lugs provide abrasion resistance.
