The Crankbrothers Mallet clip-in shoe is designed for optimal performance on the race track and the bike park. Our innovative Match System ensures seamless compatibility with any MTB clip-in system, be it Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes with a pre-installed Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, allowing you to ride with Crankbrothers pedals straight out of the box.

CLIP-IN SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR OPTIMAL SHOE / PEDAL INTERFACE: The Match Box offers optimized compatibility for any MTB pedal, while the Race Zone cleat positioning guarantees control and stability. The stiff shank provides efficient power transfer, and the ramp secures easy clip-in/out with mud clearance. The MC1 rubber compound offers low friction for easy exit.

WALKABILITY AND DURABILITY: The directional, angled, and spaced toe/heel lugs provide traction while hiking, and the ramped toe enhances walkability on steep terrain. The lug depth is designed to absorb pedal pins for a secure connection, and the rounded lugs offer abrasion resistance.

SHOCK ABSORPTION AND PROTECTION: The cushioned EVA midsole ensures optimal shock absorption, and the TPU-reinforced areas provide protection and abrasion resistance. The padded tongue offers protection against impacts.

BREATHABILITY, FIT, AND SAFETY: The shoe is designed with ventilated lateral mesh windows and perforated tongue and toe area to enhance breathability.
